What We Do

Horizon Industries specializes in non-woven converting and currently manufactures a broad line of wiping products ranging from delicate soft tissue towels, to rugged reinforced biodegradable rayon. Applications range from janitorial to high tech laboratories, food service, transportation and manufacturing industries. We have the capability to produce engineered, custom products to customer specifications as well as custom packaging & private labeling. Tours are welcome by appointment!

Who We Are

Horizon Industries began in 1976 as East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind. Our Mission: To provide employment to people who are blind or visually impaired.

At present, our customer base includes General Services Administration, US Navy, Defense Logistics Agency, Grainger, TXU Electric, On-Target and state agencies such as Texas Department of Public Safety.

Employees of Horizon Industries are dedicated, hard working individuals and take pride in the opportunity to contribute to company goals, be part of the community economic base while enhancing their individual quality of life. Seventy percent of our total employees are blind or visually impaired.
